Heating Air Conditioning Design Engineer

We are looking for a Heating Air Conditioning Design Engineer, specializing in HVAC systems, with hands-on experience in the U.S. construction sector. This role calls for a professional comfortable with remote collaboration, offering their expertise in HVAC design and drafting, with proficiency in 3D modeling and design software.

IMPORTANT: Advanced proficiency in spoken English is a requirement.

A portfolio showcasing previous projects, along with a voice note, will be requested during our screening process.

Technical Knowledge & Skills Required:

• Read and interpret HVAC design drawings and schematics.

• 2 or more years of experience working with HVAC Design. 

• Draft and calculate detailed plans for plumbing or HVAC systems according to project specifications.

• Develop 3D models of HVAC systems using industry-standard software.

• Manage client-provided formats and project deliverables.

• Understand and apply codes and standards relevant to HVAC design in the U.S. market.

Soft Skills Required:

• Fluent in spoken English (Mandatory).

• Proficient in HVAC system design and drafting, with an emphasis on plumbing and HVAC systems.

• Skilled in Thermal load calculation software (Hap 4.9 or superior / Trace 700 or DesignBuilder)

• Proficient in VRF software from any manufacturer. 

• Experience working with Navisworks for project coordination. 

• Proficient in AutoCAD and Rev

• Skilled in AutoCAD, Revit and relevant 3D HVAC design software (Mandatory).

• Knowledge of BIM modeling techniques and software.

• Familiarity with U.S. building codes and standards for HVAC engineering.

Main Tools to Manage:

• Google Suite: Google Drive, Corporate Gmail, Docs, Sheets.

• Microsoft Office: Word, Excel.

• Hubstaff: Web App, Desktop App and Hubstaff Tasks.

• Zoom: Meetings and Breakout rooms.
